We work with you as part of your team so that we really understand your business. The better we understand your business the more able we are to help you grow your business profitably.
Management is delegated and you are updated regularly, so that you feel as comfortable with your business’s financial position as you do with all other aspects of your business. We have short, pre-arranged, regular meetings in your office where:
- You are regularly updated on your cash position. We review the cash flow for the next month in detail and the next six months in summary, identifying any periods where there may be problems and making arrangements to cover these short falls.
- We review key elements of your accounts so that there is an understanding of the profit (or loss), for the month and the year to date. The most profitable lines of business and products are identified and you can review the profitability of clients. This information will help you to determine your sales strategy for the following months.
- We consider the key performance indicators for your business and determine what action we need to take to improve any areas where performance is not achieving your business objectives. For example:
- gross margin is less than anticipated,
- loss making lines,
- late paying customers.
- Our joint analysis of the financial information will identify what is going well in the business, you can then understand why and implement good practice; you will also be able understand what is not going as well as anticipated and take remedial action to improve the situation.
Your plans for growing you business will be supported by financial forecasts, giving providers of finance greater confidence in the viability of your ideas and plans. We help you to strengthen your position, so that you have a more proactive relationship with external finance specialists, such as banks and accountants, as you will feel in control of your finances and therefore, on an equal footing with them.
